July 12th, 2008 by johnshawLocal campaigners John Shaw and Doris Jones have reacted with concern to news that the development of the Eli Lilly site North of the town centre could mean the BCOT site falling into the hands of a private developer.
Local press reports have told of a land swap if the Lilly development goes ahead with the developer providing a new site for the college but gaining the current Worting Road site.
John and Doris are requesting urgent meetings with the developer and the Borough Council to try to make sure that local residents’ voices are heard if the swap goes ahead.
